二、用法不同
any other的用法，是指在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或事物，any other后跟单数名词，也可以说any ofthe other+复数名词。
She is more diligent than any other students in her class.她是班上最用功的学生。
the other应用于有范围的情况，是两者中的另一个。any other指的是“另外任意一个”， 是任何别的。
He has two daughters，One is a nurse，the other is a worker.他有两个女儿，一个是护士，另一个是工人。

another泛指三个或三个以上的人或物中的一个;

5)泛指别的人或物时，用others当在一定范围内，除去一部分后，剩余部分但不是全部时，也用others。
